2025-2026 Cobell Awards and Celebrations Now Accepting Nominations!

The purpose of the Cobell Awards and Celebrations Program is to recognize Cobell community members for outstanding accomplishments in their academic field, making a positive difference in their communities, and/or using their leadership skills to make our world a better place for everyone.

Summary of Awards and Criteria

Cobell Leadership Award – Open to anyone in the Cobell Community (Scholar, Alum, Friends of Cobell) – who, in the view of the CAC, exemplify the resilience, fortitude, and commitment to reaching outcome(s) that positively affect the broader community.  

Cobell Outstanding Undergraduate Award – Open to current undergraduate scholars who were awarded at any time during the current academic year. This award celebrates an undergraduate who, in the view of the CAC, has achieved remarkable outcomes within their academic pursuits and community. 

Cobell Outstanding Graduate Award - Open to current graduates or professional program scholars who were awarded at any time during the current academic year. This award celebrates a graduate or professional program scholar who, in the view of the CAC, has achieved remarkable outcomes within their academic pursuits and community. 

Cobell Outstanding Alumni Award – Open to any prior recipient of a Cobell scholarship or fellowship who completed their academic degree for which they received funding. This award celebrates an alumni member who, in the view of the CAC, has achieved remarkable outcomes as an alum and exemplifies the resilient spirit of Elouise Cobell.
